We are looking for a talented Team Leader – Level IV – 1 st Shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Ladson, SC .
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Coordination : Coordinate the activities of a group of employees, to ensure that production specifications and schedules are met, including volume, cost, wastage targets, and quality standards.
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Compliance : Adhere to HSE standards, policies, and procedures, and use a proactive approach to reporting hazards and incidents, to contribute to a safer work environment.
Quality Assurance : Follow all applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures, and perform quality inspections, to help maintain high-quality standards and minimize cost and exposures.
Delivery Management : Monitor the performance and output of the team, assign tasks, and respond to equipment faults, parts shortages, quality issues, and safety issues.
Training and Development : Ensure on-the-job training and other training requirements are scheduled, completed, and documented, to contribute to the continuous learning and development of the team.
Continuous Improvement : Assist in creating and maintaining a team focused on continuous improvement contributes to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
Coaching and Mentoring : Coach and mentor less experienced team members, to help build a stronger, more knowledgeable team.
Teamwork : Ensure effective communication with the assigned team and support teams, along with active participation in quality improvement, safety, process, material flow, and employee development, to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Education/Experience
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

Hoist, Crane, and LOTO training required.
Working experience with remanufactured parts is highly desired.
Demonstrates flexibility to support changing production and operational demands.
