- Drive quality outcomes by applying high standards of workmanship, following all process documentation and quality procedures, and performing thorough quality inspections.
- Improve equipment reliability and uptime by performing and documenting preventive, corrective, emergency, and predictive maintenance, and contributing feedback to the preventive maintenance system.
- Support cost and quality performance by identifying issues early, raising concerns, and participating in downtime failure analysis and problem‑solving activities.
- Achieve production and delivery goals through skilled execution of job responsibilities, maintaining clean and orderly work areas, and completing housekeeping and equipment cleaning tasks.
- Strengthen team capability by instructing and coaching others, serving as an informal resource to less‑experienced team members, and completing ongoing training and personal development.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by working closely with peers, support teams, and TPM groups to reduce manufacturing constraints, improve processes, and enhance safety, quality, and material flow.

We are looking for a talented Controls Technician to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Ladson, SC.
- Robust electrical and automation expertise, including PLC/HMI platforms (Rockwell Studio 5000, Siemens), industrial networking, robotics, and vision systems, supported by the ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Hands‑on technical execution with a safety‑first mindset, holding LOTO, Arc Flash, and related certifications while maintaining strict compliance awareness in industrial environments.
- Proactive, self‑driven problem solver with demonstrated ownership, continuous learning habits, and the initiative to independently master new technologies and systems.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
