Skilled Maintenance Technician - Level III
We are looking for a talented Skilled Maintenance Technician- Level III to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Ladson, SC
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Support Manufacturing Needs : Perform skilled activities to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes.
Safety Protocols : Learn and adhere to safety protocols, especially when working with electricity and industrial equipment, to maintain a safe work environment.
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Compliance : Actively report hazards, use personal protective equipment, and engage in HSE training to promote a safe workplace.
Quality Workmanship: Apply high standards of craftsmanship, follow quality procedures, and perform inspections to ensure product quality.
Maintenance and Problem-Solving : Conduct preventive, emergency, and corrective maintenance, and provide feedback to improve equipment reliability.
Team Collaboration : Instruct and coach team members, communicate effectively, and participate in continuous improvement activities.
Environmental Awareness : Recognize and minimize the environmental impact of your work, promoting sustainability.

QUALIFICATIONS
Beneficial Experience:
• Proven hands-on experience with electrical and PLC systems
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills with an ability to quickly diagnose and repair machinery.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HSE fundamentals, including LOTO processes, machine guarding, and electrical safety.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a results-driven mindset.
• Ability to meet equipment uptime, MTTR, and MTBF performance targets.
• Willingness to learn and develop in an ever-evolving technical environment.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams (Controls and Manufacturing Engineers) to address complex issues and drive improvements.
• Experience working in an automotive or assembly line manufacturing facility.
• Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Competency in using and maintaining various tools and equipment required for electrical and mechanical maintenance.
