Efficient Repairs: By diagnosing and completing less complex engine repairs on-site, you'll ensure minimal downtime for customers.

Technical Expertise: Using specialized tools and following procedures will ensure high-quality repairs and maintenance.
Preventative Maintenance: Performing scheduled maintenance will help prevent future issues and extend the life of engine components.
Problem Escalation: Escalating unresolved issues to more experienced technicians ensures that complex problems are addressed effectively.
Accurate Documentation: Completing necessary documentation accurately will support warranty claims, quality control, and service records.
Service Opportunities: Identifying additional service opportunities will help in providing comprehensive solutions to customers and potentially increase business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Compliance and Safety: Adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, using appropriate personal protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
Customer Service Skills: Ability to handle customer interactions professionally, including receiving parts calls, assisting walk-in customers, and processing transactions accurately.
Technical Proficiency: Competence in using various systems, catalogs, and tools to identify and procure parts efficiently, as well as diagnosing and repairing engine systems.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Skill in troubleshooting issues, interpreting system interactions, and performing repairs and maintenance to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience
Apprentice Certified Power Generation or Engine Technician (Preferred)
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Current relevant electrical certification (optional)
Locally valid driving permit
Basic level field service work experience
High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience (optional)
Customer service experience
