We are looking for a talented Controls Technician - 3rd Shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Ladson, SC.

Skilled Support for Manufacturing : By applying your comprehensive knowledge to perform skilled activities, you will support the manufacturing business needs effectively.
Resource Utilization : Working with relevant functions to select and utilize appropriate resources, tools, machinery, and specialty equipment will enhance operational efficiency.
Safety Expertise : Your thorough understanding of safety protocols for working with electricity and other energy sources will ensure a safe working environment.
Leadership and Coordination : Acting as a formal resource, you will lead and coordinate others, sharing your expertise and guiding team members.
Adaptability : Quickly and effectively adapting to changes in the manufacturing environment will help maintain productivity and address new challenges.
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Commitment : By stopping work to report major hazards, complying with HSE standards, and promoting interdependence, you will contribute to a safer workplace and minimize environmental impact.
Quality Assurance : Applying high standards of workmanship, supporting equipment failure analysis, and performing quality inspections will ensure high-quality outputs and continuous improvement.

Manufacturing Knowledge : Demonstrate a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes. Correctly implement changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.
Effective Communication : Communicate clearly and effectively with your team and other support teams. This will ensure that everyone is aligned and working towards common goals.
Continuous Improvement : Engage in continuous learning and development. Stay updated with the latest industry practices and technologies to drive improvements in quality, safety, and efficiency.
Problem-Solving Skills : Actively identify issues and implement solutions. Use your expertise to troubleshoot and resolve problems, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience.
