Production Associate - Level II First Shift

We are looking for a talented CTP Production Associate - Level II 1st Shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our CTP in Ladson, SC

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.

  • Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations.

  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment.

  • Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke and visual standards.

  • Performs quality inspections.

  • Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product in order to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.

  • Demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills.

  • Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard. While maintaining a clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.

  • Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  • Must lift, rotate 90 degrees, and carry metal turbo cores weighing up to 34 lbs. up to 4 feet, 40 times/hour.

  • Must be able to grasp and operate two hoist handles at 78-80 inches from the ground to load turbochargers into containers.

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 6 parts weighing up to 42 lbs

  • Must be able to press together a two-handed retaining ring tool, 40 times/hour.

  • Must be able to insert retaining rings using one-handed retaining ring pliers, 40 times/hour

  • Must be able to stand/walk for 8-12 hours/shift up to 2 hours consecutively7. Must push/pull wheeled carts requiring up to 85 lb force up to 30 feet.

  • 2 years of manufacturing assembly experience highly preferred

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
