Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our project management team in overseeing HVAC and plumbing projects. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing submittals, processing RFI’s, preparing take offs, building schedule of values, preparing change orders, coordinating schedules, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating HVAC & plumbing projects.
  • Support project managers in tracking budgets, procurement, and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including submittals and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues.
  • Utilize project management (Viewpoint by Vista) software to maintain schedules and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical contracting.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, piping, and plumbing installations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
