Cullum Constructors, Inc. is seeking a qualified, motivated, and reliable helper to join our Charleston team as a combination Warehouse Assistant and Material Handler. Ability to badge for base access is required.

The desired candidate will possess a willingness to work as a team.

The Warehouse Assistant/Material Handler is an integral part of warehouse department. The duties revolve around placing incoming orders on shelves and storage yard, as well as picking of material and equipment from suppliers and vendors and deliver in according to construction teams’ orders and delivery scheduled.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Organize and monitor inventory.
• Meet delivery deadlines in a safe and timely manner.
• Wrap and load orders onto delivery truck.
• Ensure loads are secured.
• Receive and track shipments/deliveries.
• Read packing slips, manifests, and/or invoices to verify products being received in.
• Complete any paperwork as needed related to deliveries.
• Stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Drive a forklift and stake body truck.
• Adhere to safety and DOT policy and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver license and satisfactory driving record required
• Must be reliable and accountable
• Must be self-motivated and able to work well in a team setting.
• Excellent communication skills a must
• The want to learn and grow
• Ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Reliable transportation
• Possess an attention to detail
