The Department of Hispanic Studies at the College of Charleston invites applications for two full-time Visiting Assistant Professors of Spanish to begin August 16th, 2026. We seek dynamic and dedicated teacher-scholars with demonstrated excellence in teaching Spanish. Candidates with a specialization in Spanish Sociolinguistics or Spanish for the Health Professions preferred.

The positions are benefits-eligible and the salary is competitive. Requirements for the position include a Ph.D. in the discipline and near native proficiency in Spanish and English.
