Job Purpose | The Administrative Coordinator provides essential support for the daily operations of the CharlestonLIFE™ office. This position serves as the first point of contact for applicants, prospective students, and external stakeholders, supporting the admissions process under the direction of the Associate Director for Admissions and Enrollment. The Administrative Coordinator also assists with program logistics, events, and materials, including marketing support, under the guidance of program leadership. |
Minimum Requirements | High school diploma or equivalent and at least two (2) years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or hospitality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience are encouraged to apply. |
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). • Strong word processing and data entry skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a wide range of individuals. • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize tasks, manage frequent interruptions, and maintain attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment to meet goals and deadlines. • Professional demeanor with a customer-focused, service-oriented approach. • Commitment to confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information in compliance with FERPA and College policies. • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems is preferred. • Ability to provide administrative support for social media platforms, website content management, and program materials under the direction of program leadership. |
