Position Description | POSITION: The Department of Management and Marketing in the School of Business at the College of Charleston seeks qualified applicants for a full-time Marketing Visiting Instructor starting early January 2026. Applicants should demonstrate competency and interest in teaching in one or more of a variety of marketing classes at the undergraduate and potentially graduate levels. Desirable areas of interest include but are not limited to principles of marketing, sales, retail, advertising, marketing strategy, and marketing management. This visiting position is renewable up to three years if funding is available. Responsibilities include:
Preference will be given to candidates who are at the forefront of advancements in the field of marketing and who are willing to bring those insights into the classroom. Ideal candidates will have significant industry experience in marketing, as well as some teaching experience in basic and upper-level marketing courses at an AACSB-accredited business school. We further are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, collegial, engaged with students, good communicators, and team players. DEPARTMENT: Our department offers majors in Business Administration, Marketing, and International Business, as well as minors/concentrations in Leadership for Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, Business, and Marketing.
