Description
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing and managing the low voltage infrastructure from maintaining and upgrading, designing, installations, and quality control/quality assurance for the Charleston Regional Aviation Authority’s (CRAA) interests and tenants on the main airport campus. The position reports to the Manager, Information Technology Operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manages Construction Project installation oversees project low voltage elements of the construction projects to include design team, general contractors, subcontractors, IT security teams who handle the coordination/installation schedule, tenant (rental cars) coordination/installation schedules including QTA and main terminal counter space relocations.
- Manages Project administration and financial duties administer design change orders, low voltage construction subcontractors PO’s/Change orders, vendor/manufacture quotes/orders, low voltage subcontractor pay application approvals and vendor invoice approvals.
- Oversees ground transportation office (GTO) Parking Management System construction installations of the GTO parking management system for the Parking Guidance Project; manages CRAA system upgrades and/or tenant construction; oversees parking deck entrance of the PMS infrastructure upgraded the upcoming terminal tenant construction installation (Cinnabon).
- Supports the IT Security Departments yearly projects such as infrastructure, upgrades and/or added systems like task/project designs and drawings, BOM, ROM’s and/or procurement, SOW, subcontractor RFBs, contractor, installations, and administrative financial oversight.
- Communicates with Aviation Authority officials, supervisors, other employees, clients, third party service contractors, Vendors, tenants, laborers, the public and other individuals as needed to coordinate work activities, reviews status of work, exchange information, or resolve problems.
- Stays current on best practices and attends on-going self-improvement professional training to keep up with industry standards; studying for the PMP certification, Bluebeam construction drawing software knowledge improvement, AutoCAD, BIM, 360 Glue software knowledge and various others as needed.
- Coordinate projects related to the airport’s Operational Digital Twin
- Collaborate with IT, Operations, Facilities, and external vendors.
- Support project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field of study.
- Five (5) years’ experience in a related field of work.
- Or equivalent training, education, and/or experience.
Specific License or Certification Required:
- Valid South Carolina driver’s license.
Salary Description
$77,594.22/yr
