Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated security analyst to join a high-paced team environment. The position will be responsible for assisting with daily insider threat operations and NISP compliance for the CGI Federal enterprise. This is a permanent full-time position with high growth potential.

This position can be located in our Huntsville, AL office, Fairfax, VA office, or Charleston, SC office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The Insider Threat Analyst provides support to a variety of programs within industrial security, including insider threat and counterintelligence. The Analyst must maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in security practices and NISPOM compliance.
The Analyst is responsible in the daily monitoring, escalation, and investigation of security incidents among other duties as required. This includes but is not limited to:
• Ability to create complex search criteria to capture interested data
• Identify patterns or abnormalities in large data sets and search results
• Validate reporting and data provided for accuracy using industry standard toolsets
• Perform self-inspections, identify discrepancies, and report security incidents
• Manage and maintain detailed investigative information and case documentation

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of professional experience or equivalent experience in lieu of education
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance
• Possess excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
• Ability to properly handle and protect highly sensitive information
• Excellent research, data-gathering skills with an ability to interpret, analyze and communicate out complex information
• Demonstrate sound judgment and critical thinking
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Takes the initiative to introduce new ideas and offers solutions to improve efficiency and organization

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $55,600.00 - $118,700.00.
