About the Role:
Reporting to: General Manager Vanuatu
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Work Location: Port Vila, Vanuatu
Customer Service Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional customer support as the first point of contact for enquiries, ensuring timely responses, managing key customer relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance the overall customer experience while acting as the voice of the customer.
The role and responsibilities will include:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries, managing the end-to-end order lifecycle while delivering timely, high-quality service in line with agreed service levels and KPIs.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication, exception management, and collaboration with internal teams and overseas agents to resolve customer issues.
- Coordinate with operational stakeholders to ensure accurate cargo handling, documentation, vessel planning, routing, and compliance with company processes and best practices.
- Promote customer-focused solutions, value-added services, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and workplace health and safety requirements, and perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor or Customer Care Manager.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, with a qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, Business, or a related discipline being advantageous.
- Strong customer service focus with excellent communication, relationship-building, and telephone etiquette skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, sound organisational skills, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills, with the ability to work independently and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the shipping, transport, or logistics industry, including tariffs and CMA CGM Group services and systems, is highly desirable.

Applicants must have full working rights in Port Vila Vanuatu.
