CACI is seeking an experienced Configuration Management (CM) Team Lead to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES II).

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of IT asset management and configuration management processes across multiple regions, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and alignment with ITIL best practices and organizational goals. A key focus of this role will include improving asset visibility, enhancing CMDB data quality, and streamlining equipment logistics to support efficient IT operations across all locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize a globally distributed team of IT Asset and Configuration Management specialists across multiple time zones and regions.

  • Establish and maintain standardized processes and procedures for managing the full lifecycle of IT assets and Configuration Items across all regions, in accordance with local and international regulations

  • Coordinate with regional IT teams to ensure consistent implementation of asset and configuration management practices.

  • Oversee global projects related to IT Asset and Configuration Management improvements and initiatives.

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for global asset and configuration management processes.

  • Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of global IT asset and configuration management initiatives.

  • Manage vendor relationships for global IT asset management and configuration management tools and services.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the global team.

  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members are up-to-date with latest organizational processes and procedures.

  • Prepare reports on asset utilization, depreciation, and disposal for management

  • Perform regular audits of IT assets to ensure accuracy of inventory records and coordinates corrective actions

  • Coordinates the release of Change Requests and Change Notifications to and from USSOUTHCOM to the site.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active secret level clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification

  • 7+ years of experience in IT Asset and Configuration Management

  • 3+ years of experience leading and managing technical teams

  • Proficiency in ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred)

  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
