Job Description:
CACI is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES).
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance Engineer - Journeyman:
Generates and maintains the program's Quality Assurance Plan to meet contract requirements
Establish a tailored process baseline (TPB) for the program.
Support the creation and delivery of SLA definition, analysis and reporting
Develop Internal Audit schedule and execute.
Identify opportunities for improvement and facilitate structured improvement activities (e.g. kaizens, VSMs, etc) as appropriate.
Analyzes and maps the risks, issues with opportunities and proposes mitigation solutions.
Develop training plans, SOPs, knowledge articles relevant to group technical focus areas
Ensures quality assurance processes are followed, and quality products and services are delivered
Develops or oversees the development of work products and deliverables per the approved plans and contract requirements. Support the development and delivery of contract deliverable documentation, reports, plans and analysis and Customer meetings
Raises quality assurance issues and concerns to the program manager, program oversight, and other levels of management, as needed
Understands the contract quality assurance requirements and provides direction to the program team in compliance with the contract
Plans and implements quality assurance activities for the program including independent review of key deliverables
Implements an appropriate quality system, building quality into the processes and solution at all levels to prevent quality problems
Interfaces with customer and subcontractor quality assurance points of contact
Measures and reports on quality indicators and metrics
Provides quality training to the program team as required
Coordinates replies to customer concerns related to quality
Leads audits and supports verification activities
Reviews technical data (e.g., drawings, work instructions, purchase orders) to assure quality requirements are correctly applied
Support Risk Management Reporting
Coordinate with stakeholders (i.e. Customer, vendors, OEMS, and other contractors) to perform root cause analyses (RCA) and document and address incidents as necessary within time thresholds specified for contract performance standards.
Experience evaluating business needs and requirements to identify appropriate solutions.
Understanding the collection, processing, and evaluation of data to generate actionable insights and forecasts for decision making.
Required Skills:
Current Secret Clearance with eligibility to obtain TS is required
Six Sigma Green Belt
Requires expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts
Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with the highest levels of management and delivery of required reports in accordance with formal contractual agreements.
Strong leadership skills in delivering technical presentations and reports for leadership and customer communication.
Experience conducting training, performing quality audits, measuring and gathering metrics and reporting to senior leadership.
Experience executing process improvement for large scale programs.
BS degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years relevant experience.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
