Job Description

The Manufacturing Operations Co-op will assist with operations projects in a manufacturing environment, gaining hands-on experience in Bosch Production Systems, continuous improvements, and personnel management. This role will involve working closely with the Manufacturing Operations Group Leader to support ongoing operations, implement improvements, and ensure product quality. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in manufacturing process, problem-solving, lean principles, data driven decision making, and applying classroom knowledge to real-world challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of processes in operations
  • Support in coordinating shift handover meetings and standards
  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and product performance.
  • Assist in developing and updating 6S Improvements on the shop floor.
  • Collect and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and technical documentation for project updates.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Operations Management, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Min. 2.5 GPA
  • Hands-on attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tools is a plus.
  • Self-motivated to finish tasks in a timely manner
