- Operational Improvements & Savings Identification: Analyze FTZ operations and processes to identify potential areas for operational efficiency and cost-saving opportunities. Recommend process improvements and collaborate with stakeholders to implement changes.
- Data Management & Reporting: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of FTZ-related data, reports, and summaries. Ensure that records are accurate, timely, and compliant with all applicable regulations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about changes in FTZ-related regulations and assist in ensuring compliance with all relevant federal and state laws, including Customs regulations, Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), and international trade policies.
- Training & Support: Provide support and training to internal teams regarding FTZ procedures, requirements, and best practices. Offer guidance on compliance and operational questions to various departments.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including supply chain, logistics, and finance, to ensure FTZ operations are aligned with broader organizational goals and to address any FTZ-related issues or questions.
- Process Documentation: Assist in documenting FTZ procedures, process flows, and best practices to ensure consistency and clarity in operations
