Job Description

  • Project lead for software development, PLC programming and IT infrastructure implementations.
  • Primary Controls/Process Engineer lead for multiple 1 second assembly lines.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and quality plans according to company standards (including process flow diagrams, PQIs, process control documentation, standard work instructions).
  • Identifies and resolves quality issues related to automated equipment.
  • Identify and lead projects to improve safety, cost, quality, delivery, and utilization of manufacturing processes in order to meet Policy Deployment objectives.
  • Actively participate in daily management of area using other analytics/data to meet targets and derive measures to continuously improve performance & meet KPI's
  • Support all MOE2 Component equipment and production lines
  • Occasional technical support of night/weekends via phone (on site if required) as subject matter expert for extended downtime situations.

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering (Electrical or Mechatronic or related) and 3+ years technical experience.
  • PLC & Drive programing experience preferred.
  • Vision Systems such as Keyence, SensoPart and Cognex
  • Programming experience with object-oriented languages and web technologies (PLC programming, C#, Python, HTML/Javascript)
  • Experience with data analytics tools (PowerBI, etc)
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL, Oracle) and IT concepts (VMs, networking)
  • Experience in high volume/technology manufacturing processes within the automotive industry preferred.
  • Ability to read and define electric drawings, pneumatic and/or hydraulic plans.
  • Project leadership skills and the ability to prioritize workload to meet established targets.
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams with a high degree of self-initiative.
  • Experience utilizing problem solving techniques to solve complex manufacturing issues (Six Sigma, Shainin, 5 whys).
  • Ability to travel (including internationally) for training, projects, and IPN activities.
