Database Administrator

On our team, you’ll administer, test, and implement computer databases which may include coordinating computer database changes, implementing security measures to safeguard computer databases, and maintaining databases within an application area. You’ll provide your client with peace of mind as you implement policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the database.

With your technical expertise, mentoring, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we’ll focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:

• Knowledge of Database Management System technologies, including Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server

• Ability to supervise or mentor less experienced personnel

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of experience administering, testing, and implementing computer databases, or Master’s degree and 10+ years of experience administering, testing, and implementing computer databases

• CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) Certification

Nice If You Have:

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
