We’re looking for a system administrator who specializes in delivering Windows Server Solutions to help us manage our client's enterprise IT environment.
As a system administrator on our team, you’ll ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available and constantly look for ways to improve using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies. You’ll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning.

You Have:
- 6 years of experience with enterprise IT including system deployment, network protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, desktop administration and UNIX and Windows based operating system
- Experience as an on-site Windows Administrator providing management and administration support to Microsoft Windows Server solutions
- Ability to provide overall architecture guidance and assist with deploying and configuring Windows Server solutions including Domain Controllers, Active Directory, Distributed File Systems (DFS), and File Services, such as Project, User shared folders, and Quotas
- Ability to assist with deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
- Ability to support and troubleshoot DC, DFS, and MECM issues and assist with sustainment and maintenance on all technical aspects of these solutions
- Ability to utilize PowerShell scripting to assist with task automation and facilitate server maintenance
- Knowledge of Windows Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and utilizing EvalSTIG
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED and 8 years of experience supporting enterprise IT systems or bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience supporting enterprise IT systems
- IAT Level II certification such as Security+ CE
Nice If You Have:
- 10 years of experience supporting accreditation of Federal enterprise networks, software, or applications
- Experience implementing DoD STIG or maintenance for operating systems, network appliances, storage devices, servers, or software
- Experience installing, maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting Federal operational networks, virtualized computing environments, software, cloud, or applications
- Ability to continuously analyze the customer's needs and identify security requirements, risks, and proposed solutions
- Ability to work independently
- Possession of strong written and verbal communications skills
- Microsoft certification
- Linux certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
