Position Overview: Team member of the People and Safety Group providing administrative support and assistance in all areas of HRIS and Benefits systems, benefits administration and employee relations. On-site position, M-F, 8am-5pm.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Point of contact for all benefits information, changes, questions, systems and communications.
  • Data entry, accuracy, standardization and maintenance of all HRIS and benefits systems.
  • Assists with new hires, employment eligibility verification, workers comp, leave management, open enrollment, harassment training, documentation, unemployment queries and compliance reporting.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from employees and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to HR Manager.
  • Assists on-site nurse with Wellness and Employee Support Programs.
  • Provides support for People Group projects and company events.
  • Promotes positive employee relations focusing on continuous improvement of HR processes.
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of human resources experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS and benefits software and systems.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient knowledge of employment-related compliance and laws.
  • Great attention to detail with ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions.
  • Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with different personalities while demonstrating respect to all team members.
  • Complete dedication to excellent customer service.
