Job Summary
A Manufacturing Process Engineer designs, implements, and optimizes manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and/or reduce cost. The Process Engineer analyzes production workflows, identifies bottlenecks, and develops solutions using engineering principles and data analysis. Process engineers also ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, while monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.

- 100% on-site position.
Responsibilities
- Develop new or modified processes, equipment, and layouts to meet specific production goals.
- Analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to process performance, equipment malfunctions, and quality control.
- Machine troubleshooting and problem-solving. When manufacturing issues arise, the process engineer must quickly identify and troubleshoot the problem. This includes understanding root causes, developing potential solutions, and testing these solutions in a safe, controlled environment.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to process performance, identify trends, and generate reports for management.
- Manage process improvement projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality control, to achieve common goals.
- Stay informed about the latest technologies and best practices in process engineering to continuously improve processes and ensure the most efficient and effective use of resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Chemical, mechanical, or industrial engineering degree preferred.
- 0-2 years of pharmaceutical experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and develop solutions.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and systems. Knowledge of various manufacturing technologies and equipment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with teams, communicate technical information clearly, and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Project management skills. Ability to plan, organize, and manage projects effectively.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures. Understanding of relevant safety regulations and best practices.
Travel Expectations
- Up to 10% travel expected.

The noise level that is typical for this position is loud at times when near working equipment.
