The Customer Experience Cylinder Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that customer cylinder balances and rental bills are accurate with the assigned Regional Company. This position is also responsible for the accurate entry of data in SAP to ensure an effortless experience, compliance with policies and procedures set by the company, and review accuracy of cylinder assets at the time of approval routing.
This position will closely interact with and support our Customer Experience Credit and Collections function, Regional Companies, other Division personnel and our customer experience team to assist with issues related to cylinder balances. In order to be successful in this position, qualified candidates should be trainable, take directions well, be a quick learner, exceptional attention to detail, intermediate computer skills, strong customer service skills, and in-depth knowledge of the industrial gas business. In addition, the successful candidate must have excellent research and follow-up skills, as well as be able to excel in a fast-paced changing work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct onsite cylinder audits at customer sites upon request and in response to report analysis
Work with branches, sales, and Customer Experience Representatives to maintain accurate customer cylinder balances and rental billing, and review/adjust negative cylinder balances as needed for medical, industrial and national accounts
Act as a liaison between customers, branches, sales, and Customer Experience Representative (CXR)
Notify the Region Customer Experience Directors, Customer Experience Trainers, and Area Branch Operations Coordinators of any branch training needs
Provide AVPs and senior management with periodic updates and quantitative analysis
Where there are balance discrepancies, work with the branches, plants, sales, customers and CXRs to resolve
Maintain a good understanding of SAP Partnership functionality of customers account to assist with through research or location of assets
Request, schedule, and enter audit results to maintain audit history
Research and validate cylinder discrepancies for loss of use and adjustment
Obtain branch, DM and AVP approvals to process cylinder adjustments
Review and post branch adjustments
Perform ACT (bar code) hand held audits and adjustments
Assist branches with ACT hand held reader issues

Are you a MATCH?
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
Experience in an office environment with customer facing activities, internal or external.
Previous experience with cylinder field operations and/or experience in inventory/stock control
Computer proficiency and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Google platform; adept at learning new computer software/applications
Must be willing to commit to 5-10% travel
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree is a plus
Experience with SAP and/or ERP systems a plus
