Provides support and assistance in working new areas of potential business. Assists with client and partner relationships, and develops new opportunities within existing relationships specifically with current consortium members and academia.
Essential Functions:In depth understanding of ATI’s vision, strategic priorities, people, capabilities, core business, and industry needs.
Supports ATI’s existing business development process through effective BD Pipeline execution.
Directly responsible to increase ATI business though new opportunities, partnerships and new and existing business relationships.\n
\n- Performs market research to identify new opportunities.
\n- Creates new pursuits to expand current offerings.
\n- Identifies and targets new business development opportunities.
\n- Facilitates successful interface with internal and external customers.
\n
\nAssists in the proposal development process and/or when necessary facilitates and leads the proposal process and acts as a proposal manager.
Assists with the development and implementation of annual business development goals and objectives.
Tracks business development resources and recommends the optimum use of time and funds expended.
Prepares and facilitates presentations and customer meetings.
Assists with training, coaching and the development of ATI employees who have business development duties or responsibilities.
Additional Responsibilities:Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Master’s degree and two or more years’ experience in a related field, or Bachelor’s degree and four or more years’ experience in a related field. Degree in Science or Business or a related field preferred, with three or more years of experience in the operation, planning and performance of programs and projects involving technology, business processes, and collaboration.
Experience in project management.
Experience in government programs desirable.
Independent, self-directed worker, team player, problem solver and experienced leader.
Excellent communication skills, including presentations, technical reports, meeting management and work group management.
Ability to travel at company discretion.
Strong interpersonal skills including ability to actively listen, read audiences, and quickly identify key issues and areas of need.
Must display exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Employee must be either a U.S. Citizen by birth or naturalization, or a green card lawful U.S. permanent resident, or a political asylum in the U.S.
Eligibility /or an Active DOD security clearance at the secret level at the time of hire is preferred.
