acuCyber is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Subcontracts Administrator to support Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Government programs. This role is ideal for an early-career professional interested in government contracting who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Under the guidance of senior contracts staff, the successful candidate will assist with the administration of subcontracts from proposal support through closeout while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable Federal regulations.

This position provides training and hands-on experience in federal subcontract administration, FAR/DFARS compliance, proposal support, and DoD contracting, with opportunities for advancement within the Contracts organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Proposal Support

  • Assist with identifying subcontracting requirements during proposal development.
  • Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs.
  • Coordinate subcontractor proposal submissions and required documentation.
  • Review subcontractor proposals for completeness and compliance.
  • Perform basic price analyses and assist with subcontract pricing documentation.
  • Coordinate execution of NDAs, Teaming Agreements, and other pre-award documents.

Subcontract Administration

  • Prepare subcontract agreements and modifications for FFP, T&M, and Cost-Reimbursement subcontracts.
  • Incorporate required FAR, DFARS, and prime contract flow-down clauses.
  • Maintain subcontract files and documentation.
  • Track funding, periods of performance, deliverables, and subcontract modifications.
  • Support invoice reviews and subcontract closeout activities.

Compliance

  • Ensure subcontract actions comply with FAR, DFARS, company policies, and prime contract requirements.
  • Maintain documentation supporting subcontract files and audit readiness.
  • Assist with subcontract consent packages and purchasing system compliance activities as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Contracts Management, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–5 years of experience in contracts, procurement, supply chain, purchasing, or government contracting.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines
  • Exposure to DoD or Federal contracting.
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS.
  • Experience supporting proposals or purchasing.
  • Active DoD Secret or above security clearance
  • National Contract Management Association (NCMA) membership or certification is a plus.
